The Malignant Lord of Tumours: A Witness’s Tale

I have seen horrors beyond reckoning. I have watched flesh writhe, bones twist, and darkness take form. I am but a soldier in the Resin Army, and this is my tale.

The Rise of the Malignant Lord

He came from the void, a demon of unspeakable corruption. The legends called him Demoresin, the Malignant Lord of Tumours. His form was a grotesque mockery of life, his body an ever-shifting maelstrom of growths, cysts, and writhing tendrils. His touch was rot, his breath was plague.

The Plague March

Our resin-forged warriors stood ready, sculpted in perfect form, painted with skill. Yet, when he arrived, all precision crumbled. With each step, the land blackened and swelled. His influence turned knights into horrors, machines into abominations, and beasts into grotesque fiends.

His minions were not born. They were grown. The Tumour Swarm burst forth from his body—pustulent horrors, each an extension of his will.

The Battlefield of Flesh

Our ranks clashed with his army. Blades sliced, spells burned, but it was never enough. Every wound we inflicted regenerated, each limb severed was replaced by something more monstrous. The battlefield itself pulsed as if alive, covered in layers of flesh, tumours, and unholy growths.

We fought with desperation, but it was futility. The Malignant Lord did not die. He expanded.

The Last Stand

I stood at the edge of annihilation. My comrades had fallen. I was alone. He turned his gaze to me, and in that moment, I saw eternity. Not darkness. Not fire. But growth, endless and consuming.

I fled. I do not know how, but I escaped the fate of the others. Now, I wander, a broken soldier with a singular purpose: to warn others.
