The Thunder of Hooves: A Witness to the Barbarian Cavalry Charge
I remember the first time I saw them — the Barbarian Cavalry of the Crimson Tusk Tribe. They weren’t just miniatures. They were legends made resin.
Our community had gathered under the stormy skies of Eldrath’s Keep, a monthly campaign meet for the Resin Armies community. Amongst the many resin miniatures displayed on the battlefield that day, none drew more attention than those hulking warriors astride monstrous beasts — the resin 3D printed Barbarian Cavalry.
Their presence was unmistakable.
Broad-shouldered, scarred from hundreds of battles, and gripping massive iron-spears — these mounted barbarians looked ready to tear the realm asunder. The handcrafted detail of each warrior was unreal. You could almost hear their war cries.
“The charge begins,” someone whispered beside me.
The Barbarian Cavalry: Resin Miniature Perfection
Each Barbarian Cavalry miniature was a masterpiece of 3D printed detail. From the snarling war-beasts they rode to the layered furs that draped over their shoulders, the craftsmanship was unlike anything I’d seen.
Their steeds weren’t horses. These were Wargoxen — mutated beasts with molten eyes and hooves like stone. The muscles on each creature rippled as though they were alive. The textures? Sharp, realistic, intimidating.
I leaned in closer.
Each barbarian’s armor was unique. Some bore runes etched into rusted iron. Others had braids of bone and teeth strung across their chests. Their weapons were jagged — axes, spears, and swords — all forged with a brutal aesthetic only the wild tribes would wield.
These weren’t just miniatures. These were stories captured in resin.

A Resin Army Brought to Life on the Tabletop
That day at Eldrath’s Keep, the Crimson Tusk faction fielded a full squadron of Barbarian Cavalry. Their player, a long-time member of the resin army community, had spent months printing, cleaning, assembling, and painting them.
The moment the cavalry took the field, the atmosphere changed.
The opposing armies — skeleton legions, elven archers, and steel-plated paladins — suddenly looked less menacing. The barbarian cavalry charge brought real panic. Even on the table, their sheer presence dominated.
The community gathered around the table edge, murmuring in awe. “Look at the muscle detail,” someone said. “That shoulder pad has a goblin skull embedded in it!” another shouted.
And then came the dice.
The Charge That Shook the Realm
When the barbarian cavalry began their move, the sound of dice hitting the table echoed like drums of war.
The mounted resin warriors surged across the battlefield. The Wargoxen reared. Spears leveled. War paint gleamed under LED lamps. In-game mechanics aside, this moment transcended stats.
They looked unstoppable.
They felt unstoppable.
With every inch forward, you could imagine the battlefield beneath them quaking. Enemy lines faltered. Strategy shifted. The miniatures weren’t just models — they were the core of immersion.
If you’re building a barbarian faction, nothing defines your force like a squad of resin 3D printed cavalry. Get yours at Resin Armies.
Why the Resin Community Swears by These Miniatures
As a dedicated collector, I’ve handled many miniatures. But Resin Armies‘ Barbarian Cavalry stands out in every category:
-
Detail: From facial expressions to armor chips, every surface tells a story.
-
Material Quality: High-resin density means long-term durability. Perfect for painting.
-
Print Precision: Supports are minimal. Surfaces are smooth. Poses are dynamic.
-
Customizability: Many models include optional heads, weapons, and mounts.
That’s why they’re not just models — they’re centerpieces. Great for RPGs, wargames, dioramas, or display.
And if you’re part of the hobby, you know that quality resin miniatures are essential for building an elite army. Whether you’re a collector or gamer, these 3D printed cavalry miniatures belong in your ranks.
From the Mold to the Battlefield
One of the most impressive parts of these miniatures is the 3D printing process itself.
At Resin Armies, each barbarian cavalry unit is produced using high-definition resin printers. That means sharper edges, cleaner lines, and no warped weapons or fragile mounts. The printing resolution makes tiny details like leather straps and tribal tattoos pop out beautifully.
After printing, the miniatures go through a careful curing and support-removal process. They’re then individually checked for quality.
That’s why every resin barbarian miniature feels like a premium artifact rather than just a gaming piece.
Painting the Barbarians: A Hobbyist’s Dream
I took home one of the cavalry models after the campaign. I couldn’t wait to paint it.
Every stroke of the brush brought new life to the miniature. The fur textures made drybrushing incredibly satisfying. The facial scars and warpaint responded well to washes. And the armor detailing allowed for amazing contrast between rust and shine.
Even the Wargox’s saddle had intricate stitching details that rewarded careful attention.
If you’re a miniature painter, this line is a must-have. And if you’re new to painting? These are perfect practice pieces. Forgiving but rewarding, rich in depth, and visually stunning on display.
